“ ODC stands for “Only Dreams Create” and “Our Dope Culture” meaning anything is manifested, you have to dream it and visualize it first, Any great thing the we use or consume today was once someone else’s idea. Our goal is to motivate the masses to never give up their DREAMS, because ONLY they can CREATE them into reality. We might motivate a future president that didn’t think they had what it took to run. You never know. “

Q: What Inspired you into designing ?
A: My dad is an immigrant from Jamaica. He first moved to NYC & then to Pittsburgh. Around the time I was born he opened his first business, a clothing/music store. I literally grew up in this store from age 1-14 so I soaked up a lot of fashion and style at the time which led me to fall in love with clothing and music culture. Once I got older in my early high school years I noticed everyone wearing the same 2-3 brands (Hollister, Aero, etc.) This is around the time I decided I wanted to be a designer.
Q: How long have you been designing?
A: I’ve been designing for about 5 years now. I used to design for other brands/people before making my own.
Q: Who do you have in mind in working with in your future & why ?
A: there’s a lot of people I’d love to work with as long as their values and taste for quality lines up with ours. I’m willing to work with anybody.
Q: Do you have a favorite designer ? if so why ?
A: I have 4 designers that I really f**k with. Kanye West, Jonas Bervaqua (LRG), John Earl (Johnny Cupcakes) and Nigo(BAPE). But of those four I resonate with Ye the most because of his fearlessness to try new things out of the box, no matter what the public perception is. I struggle with that at times so I look to him for inspiration & also I am a musician.
Q: What’s your ultimate goal in life ?
A: My ultimate goal in life is to maybe not change the world but spark the mind of our future youth that can change the world. I learned that from 2pac. ODC has a message and the more people that hear of us will spread our message. That way we can have the financial backing to create programs for kids that don’t have the resources to make the art that they are talented in.
Q: Where do you see yourself with your brand in the next 3 years ?
A: In 3 year, I see ODC being a staple in the fashion and music industry. Our headquarters will be in either Seattle or Los Angeles, and our warehouse will be at home in Pittsburgh. By this time we’d love to have collaborated with lots of dope brands & companies. Most of all I hope that all of the ODC family that help us see through to our vision I’m still with us.
